Been researching for my bully build and was wondering if you ever put the HH cobalt puller motors in?

The large or small Pullers?

The larger 500 sized Pullers are too long to use on the Bully's....at least without fabbing some seriously bent lower links to get around them....and they'd still barely fit.

I have a set of the 400 sized Pullers that I installed into my KK mini-clod rig. They would fit the Bully's, but I haven't tried them out on this rig. I figured I'd leave them on the KK rig since these new LE motors I got from JP are pretty bad ass as it is.

BTW guys....I finally got my hands on some adapters so I can charge up the lipos.....so I am hoping to get out this weekend and get a vid of it's maiden voyage

We'll see...I was planning on heading up north to some cooler weather and was just going to take the crawler along and find a spot. Not sure though...still up in the air.

Yup...those are the 400 series I spoke of.
I know one guy running them on his HR's and he loves them. I think I will have to give them a shot

Also--where are the action pics of the new rig

Whoa whoa whoa...what's with the language? Those are Bully axles under that rig...not Berg :-P

No split lipo...it's just a really small 3 cell.

Yeah, the BEC is tucked up under the dig servo plate. Positive and negative leads from the BEC go to the deans plug at the ESC power plug (where the battery plugs in). The red wire of the ESC lead to the RX is pulled out of the connector. The BEC is plugged into the BATT position on the RX.

oop sorry, Bully MOA

I was hoping there was a cool on/off switch for your bec, but guess it's still just connecting/Disconnecting the battery

What do you think of the qualtiy of the gears compared to BErg?
what made you go with Bully over berg?

I'm doing that too 416oz str

The BEC itself does not have a power switch. It's just that once you plug in the battery, it powers up the BEC and RX right away which means your servos also power up. The Mamba Max is still powered on with it's switch.

I have zero experience with a Berg axle...never really even looked at one. I didn't choose one over the other really, I just saw all the work RC4WD had put into the Bullys and the redesigning they did along the way. Also, the parts support seemed better than replacement parts for the Bergs.

The gears in the Bullys are loud, but I'm not sure if the Bergs are just as loud. The gears have held up nice to the 35t double wind motors, and 3 cell lipo..so I guess so far so good.
