I want to do this to my bed room door that connects off the kitchen. Every place I look for the kits or parts is 300+$ and thats not counting the door too.
Found it on ebay for $40, included everything, track, wheels, brackets, hardware, ect.
The old school rivets are basically a large thumbtack I used to cover the screws, also found on ebay, $20 or so for 28 of them, they came from Israel.
I spent roughly $200 on the door for all materials.

Took the rig out yesterday for the first time with the new chassis, need to tune the shocks a bit but overall it did fairly well. The roof and hood represent Vans, not a checkered flag, also went with the fatstback look.

The Ruptures made it up this line with a little work but the gold Voodoo pins wouldn't, burned a whole pack trying.

I'm really liking em too and as with most tires, I'm sure they'll get better the more they break-in. I'd like to get em to the Hatchery but now we have a bunch more rain coming in.

For the Bully?

If so, the VP wheels aren't a comp wheel, they're a scale wheel.
I never used to run glue-on wheels because I messed with foam set-ups so often, not so much the case anymore. Lately I've been using the C.I. 6 Bolt 1" plastic glue-on wheels and love them, you can't beat the price either.
Great Planes makes a de-bonder for CA glue or tire glue that works very well if I do feel the need to change foams.

I picked these up for the front. What distinguishes a comp wheel over a scale other than the obvious look and weight?

Weight is the biggie. Aluminum beadlocks like those are needed for rock bashing..... Hammer style.

Perfect, that's exactly what I want up front. I can't wait to try out those ruptures as well, they look amazing.

The ruptures grip like crazy !
Another reason not to use aluminum wheels up front is the weight is in the wrong place, and will create extra wear in front cv's , bearings and hubs. I too wanted more weight up front, went with all brass knuckles and extra rings....lots of weight , but the wheels being light can be flicked to drop and wiggle for control

I like the knuckles, but i'm not ready to commit to the price. My CV's are greased with some vintage valvoline moly-lube extreme pressure grease. Time will tell how it holds up.

I wouldn't run those on a comp rig. If you want aluminum beadlocks, run vp slw's.
