Since I'm using the tube bumper I decided to trim the valence a bit. I think it turnout out pretty awesome! Really cleans up the front.

The winch on front is a RC4WD 1/8th scale winch. It bolts right up and looks perfect. Now I just need to dig out a Warn winch sticker for it.

I can't find my signal light paint for the life of me. I think my wife threw it away. She has a habit of doing that. So what do I do, put them on clear or order some paint. Unfortunately the closest hobby shop to me that would have that is quite a ways away so I might just have to order it.

I'm going to try to figure out some sort of interior now.

I'm pretty tempted to order this

store.rc4wd.com/Scale-Bench-Seat-for-Mojave-Body_p_2076.html

More and more things to order. I'm going to have to sell something so I have hobby money again. I'm clean out.

So, now that I'm close to done is there anything anyone wants to know about it?

I just went and ran it outside for a bit. The 2 speed is a blast in the snow and it's already caught some air. In my opinion with a 3s lipo a 27t is perfect. 35 would be alright too.

Man, that looks fantastic. I think I'll have to get one of these in the summer.

Quick question, how much does it weigh in RTR trim?

1st gear is pretty smooth. Comparable to a 35t in an Axial SCX-10 in my opinion. With a 27t it isn't Summit fast by any means but there's a good difference between gears. I think the little tires I'm using compared to the 2.2's I've ran with a Summit make the difference.

Edit: I was just told that the R3 tranny and the Hammer Transfer case have about the same gear ratio as a Summit trans.

It's simple. You hook up a servo that pulls a rod that engages gears. It was super simple to set up.

Thanks and they did.

6 lbs 12 oz but I put 8-10 oz of weight in the wheels.

There's room for the stuff elsewhere. I might try it on top of the slider supports but if you're going to have the 2 speed you're going to have to have the servo there or somewhere close. My next step is an interior. Looks like there's plenty of room still.

X2!! Im curious how the gearing compares to the summit. It doesnt seem like it will be easy to get the huge summit trans up front like I want. the R3 trans would be perfect!

Also Did I spy a slider for transfer case disconnect? i thought it was a standard transfer case?

Ready above for the explanation on the R3. I truely think it's amazing. It shouldn't be bad to mount to a SCX-10 either.

Sorry, that's not a transfer case disconnect.

I was just told be the guy that designed the R3 and Hammer transfer case that they have very close to the same gear ratio as the Summit tranny. I'm now thinking the way smaller tires I'm running on this is making the difference. There's room for a much bigger pinion if you want higher gears too.

Another useful bit of info on the tranny is that the spur mount on the slipper clutch has two sets of holes, Axial and Traxxas. You can used lots of different brand spurs and switch to 48p if you want. Man I hope these are available separately soon

I'm running a stock Axial servo that comes with a SCX-10. I think it's half way burnt out right now so it's being kind of funny but I think it's more than enough servo to run the 2 speed.

I bet you could get away with using hitch 225. It shouldn't take much to shift the trans.

Would bobbing the bed be easy ?

I really want one these. Lucky bastards.

I'd bet you're right I want to put a servo saver on mine. I think it would work even better.
