| Help with Rear Wheels not lining up with Wheel Wells...?
So, I'm just building up a TF2, and this is my first one with a rear bed (my first was a Flatbed). This evening I bolted the body together to get started on the metal work, and noticed that at full compression the rear tires move way back towards the rear of the wheels wells. I don't think it's too much of an issue apart from when watching youtube videos of Marlins etc, they all seem to be in the centre of the wells at full compression. So, it got me wondering whether I've missed something during assembly. I've tried red springs, black springs, the new RC4WD leaf reversal mounts, and the BowhouseRC mounts, and it's the same with all. Here's a couple of pics of both sides. Any one notice something I've missed? |

My TF2 RTR is about same and imo looks fine, it crawls very well too. I wouldn’t worry about it, my old 1:1 Toyota did that and crawled great too. |

| Re: Help with Rear Wheels not lining up with Wheel Wells...? Thanks. I'm not too concerned, i just looked at a lot of other trucks and they weren't doing it, so i was scratching my head trying to figure out what i had done differently. |

It's frustrating, but RC4WD didn't line it up properly. You can get it to better line up if you put more arch in the leaf spring.

Thats normal the rear shackles swing back alowing the axle to move back just alittle shorter shackles will mimimize this affect but will limit traval there are other ways to minimize this but its comsidered helpfull when trying to bump up over ledges rocks or logs the natural arch the axle travals in helps plant the wheel on top of the obsticle

Mine is very similar, although it wasn't until i swapped to the marlin bed that i noticed it, but I'm glad to see I'm not the only one with said issue.
