i've never been to one of these comps before. i was thinking about getting into them. the only thing is my rig.
what should i have for it? like are there any major rules or just whats posted on Page 1?
how long are each of the stages?
i was thinking about doing the 1.9 scale comps.
i'm planning on getting a SXC-10 hopefully Monday and see how it does

this is soooo much more then a scale comp, you won't regret it and probably won't be able to wait for the next one either. You definitely live in the right neck of the woods, I just wish these weren't so damn far away......calling Parker, head south young man head south!

Welcome Zack to the wonderful world of RECON!
If you show up with a stock Honcho or SCX10 you will be fine for the requirements set forth by our forefather Parker.
We are having a G6 this Saturday, you should come out for the day and experience the atmosphere, the people and the overall feel of a RECON G6.

Hope to see you there.

Parker is working on the 2012 RECON G6 CHALLENGE™ guidelines, but for now the only "required" item is a tow strap. For more info go to wwe.reconcrawlers.com.

I'm sure someone will have a spur gear for you. If not, CKRC is open on Saturdays.

What ratio spur gear?

I would not buy from that esablishment personally, but if you know what you want I can get it from another MUCH better shop in Reno. Let me know today and I can order it for you.

As for the stock tires, they will work just fine....

"DW" is French for LIPO'S ON FIIIIIRRRREEEEEE!

But seriously, it does stand for "Dan Wilson" who has asked for more Tricks in his plastic pumkin than Treats!

The bright side, your Axial Wraith will have no issues handling the mandatory skills sections, but your driving ability may be challenged beyond institutional help, just saying!

See you in one day and a wake up!

No truer words written and you never know when the G-Train is gonna be heading to your neck of the woods. Besides, it's always a good thing when a G6 Winning Alumni can be pushed to the limit on a Main Stage!

Tell everyone "Hi" from the G-Crew!

Stock scx will do just fine. Actually more water proof than any of my rigs

I'll bring a spare if you don't find one. I've been going through them lately so hope I don't need one
