Ok bad news. I went to the NARCCA Shootout in Prescott, AZ this weekend I did not compete, but did run the pratice course. I found out that the front arms were to weak. They functioned well but I snapped three of them in no time. I still managed to make four more gates with a broken front left arm. I think it may have potential though, so I'm working on a stonger setup, but it's a bit more involved. I'll let you know how it turns out. It's looking pretty cool tho. The shootout was great. It was my first chance to see other rigs in action. It's amazing what these things can do. I also got to see the benefits of a dig unit, really cool. There was a Redcat competing, but I don't know how he did. I only saw him on course three and he got hung up on gate 5. Many people had trouble with that gate. Anyway I learned alot and the sport is really cool. I met some people from the PARC group located here in Phoenix. They seem like a great bunch, so I hope to get more involved with the hobby. |

Glad to see you're getting out there and doing some trial and error testing on your rig. It's a good way for you to get familiar with what works and doesn't work and you'll come up with a pretty solid rig in the long run. Keep it up!
