hey thats great to hear my son has been around that kind of stuff all his life believe it or not he started driving racing go-karts at age 2 but he has never took liking to sparks of things (maybe a little gun shy) but he dont mind gettin his hands dirty or turning a wrench we have built stuff together practically since he could walk n talk

yeah i like the whole setup, i am going to steal your idea, modify it a bit of course to fit my body, but it looks great. plenty of room for electronics and batteries.

yea he has intensions on full interior we r planning on the battery blaying lenght wise hidden under a console almost like stock location we r goin to still use stick packs(for what we do i dont see spending money on lipos and chargers)we already have several packs from other rc's we've had and we r planning on putting every thig else under the hood except for the dig switch that we will hide in either a fuel cell or a toolbox

think this might make a good spot for his winch after we get the bumper made and mounted (with a stinger for sure)

Yup, it's that good. You guys are doin a fantastic job on the chassis. I do see a spot in the back that you may want to widen for more travel. It's where the gear box is hitting that lower loop on the bottom. I would look into bending that out a little so that the gear box will fit in between there. Almost tucking the gear box for the rear axle up in the cage portion. Just my $0.02

hey thanks for $0.02 but the motor actually its the other side and the gear box does clear the chassis just like u suggest--we r actually going to relocate the rear shocks it a bit more straight up (scale) position so that they actually bottom out at ride height we like for our rigs to set idle with just a slight kickup in the rear, we like climbing straight up and this tends to help (atleast for us) but we do want opinions and suggestions
