Exclamation Weird Problem

I went to turn on my rs10 xt this morning and steering worked fine, but it would only go in reverse. When I went to turn it off again the motors began spinning at full speed and wouldn't stop until I unplugged the battery. Now whenever it is plugged in (switched on or off) the motors constantly run. I've tried unplugging it from the receiver with no luck. Seems to be a ESC issue, i've never seen anything like this. Annoying since it is only a month or so old.

Does anyone have any idea why this is happening? Thoughts on how to fix? Thanks.

It just did that to me, but my crawler is a year old, with many upgrades. It turns out the esc got cooked. I thought there might have been a bit of water damage, but I couldn't find anything to confirm that for sure. Do you smell smoke???

Redcat customer service seems to be pretty awesome though, go to the website and tell them whats up.

It smells a little, but not over the top.

Sent in the warranty request yesterday. Glad to hear their support on these types of issues is good. Thanks for the feedback.
