Hey all. Really bugging today but what would you guys suggest for a servo? My range is 50 bucks. I tried a 2075 from my revo and made a huge improvement. From what i can tell stock is 6kg, 2075 is 12kg. Most lhs carry hi tech, so besides metal gear what should i look for. Thanks |

I run the MG945 or MG946. metal gear but low torque which I prefer as it is more realistic, makes you have to work for those obstacles.

stay away from the Traxxas servos there crap. try a hitech 645mg or a 5645mg way better, and between 140 to 200 oz of torque.

Check out the CPE-SER4: CYS from Crawford Performance Engineering : What's New Here? all metal gears 15 kg/cm . $22. Haven't bashed it enough to really recommend it but it's huge improvement over stock. I believe you can waterproof servos yourself - not done it myself but there are videos on YouTube.

What are the size limitations for the front servo; would these specs work? 41 x 21 x 40mmI don't plan to keep rear-steer. |

The folks at CPE are recommending this servo for the RS10-XT so looks like I'm good to go: - Standard size: 1.6”x0.8”x1.5” (40.8x20.1x38mm) |
