Default Some Gen7 updates

- Did steering mods (think I need to get longer servo horn).
- Flipped bumpers to make the taller.
- Added 2.2 proline super swampers
- adjusted links according to manual
- added high torque servo
- added light bar, tail lights and headlights tonight

Did I miss anything?

I think my next steps will be cosmetic work on body and scale items... I believe it will far more grungy/rusty/decayed before I’m done.

Take out that motor it's a 19t. No good. I would recommend going to 35t but at least a 27t

Hadn’t thought of that. Good point. I’ll prolly wait until I destroy this motor. I’ve often used the traxxas 21t 550 can motor... cheap and a ton of torque... I use that if I’m going to submarining or something similar..

Ive always wanted a nicer 35t motor...

Good call.

Axial motors are cheap and good. Bullet connectors are smaller than normal on these motors but not hard to switch. Also I been hearing good things about DeWalt motors but I haven't tried one yet

Also I would recommend a 120 amp esc or at least an 80 amp and good lipo. These dewalt motors are 12v. Not geared right they will over heat everything from what I have seen.

There's nothing wrong with the motor. A 19t 550 has roughly the same speed as a 27-30t 540, but with more torque.

What kind of light bar is that ? That looks nice. Did you run that through your ch3 or direct to a power source ?

I believe that’s an rc4wd light bar. It was in the $20 range... pretty nice. I ran the plug to the receiver for power. A little annoying when taking body on/off but not bad.
