The axles bind before the tires contact the springs.

Well then there is basically no turning lol


Glad I decided to go with the SCX10.2 then, seems more reliable and many more outlets for parts.

it is. The Gen7 is a great value at 1/2 the price of an SCX10-2, but the Axial is a superior truck for those who prefer to spend the extra cash.

I'm trying to clarify things here as i recently purchased a Gen 7 myself and am having the same issue.
So.. OG SCX10 lockers will work with slight modification, correct? And the U joint axles will work afterwards, without having to change ring gear, correct?
