Wraith? Looks more like a cross between a hellspawn demon and a whitetail buck with some sort of eye infection and questionable posture. Oh, wait - you mean the truck in the foreground? |

I'm interested to see it. Redcat seems to get closer to good with each release so hopefully this one improves upon the design and quality of the Gen8. The fact that it's compared to an ancient platform like a Wraith scares me right off the bat. Unless, they are talking about the Wraith 1.9. |

Well, keep in mind who's in charge over there. Something Axial-esque is quite likely.

I'm guessing it's a new body on the Gen8 chassis, maybe something Deadbolt-ish. I don't see them releasing an entirely new platform yet.

It's here. https://www.redcatracing.com/product...n9-BXaAp7bZOD4 Wraith-ish, somewhat new design. From what I can see after a quick look, this doesn't look like standard HSP parts-bin stuff. Looks like Gen8 chassis & motor/trans/transfer case with new non-portal axles. High speed brushless, non-sensored 2.2 rig with frame rails. It's... curious. | Redcat Wendingo 2.2 Rock Racer https://www.redcatracing.com/product...31934017765466 Pretty cool looking new release from Redcat. Kind of looks like they took the complaints with the 1.9 wraith and improved it. - Metal chassis - Front motor mount - Pretty cool looking axles - Swaybar - Brushless |

Pretty impressive ... good specs. It's pretty large, about 1/8 or so.

I don't think a solid axle rig on a scale chassis is going to work well as a "rock racer". | |

Kinda like the looks of it. Wonder how it will do on the rocks with the sensorless motor. I'll pass because I already have a Bomber, but it is good to see a new 2.2 truck.

Kind of looks like Redcat's version of the Deadbolt... with bigger tires.

The Bomber and Yeti are discontinued, and the 2.2 Wraith has to be on its last legs. I just don't see where the market is for this truck.
