I love the way you detailed the interior. The truck looks really nice.

I temporarily turned it into a scale monster truck for the Kevin Talbot Quarantine Monster Jam challenge. Man it's so hard to line up for jumps in such a small area. It was still fun.

Great video, it would definitely be hard to line up in such a small space!

Put in a sway bar on the front and screwed the sand ladders to the body pins for mounting and hiding the body posts.

Handles really good now with the dual sway bar.

Cool idea to hide the body posts.

Nifty

How did you do a front seat bar? Rear parts on the front?

Yes. It took a little modification to miss the servo horn but it works great.

More painting and some more scale details.

Decided to change the Wendigo into a scale monster truck. Did some big jumps with some 3.2 monster truck tires and had a blast. Going to pick up a monster truck chassis of some sort. Video of hitting the ramps and abusing the Wendigo like I normally do but the jumps are so much more controlled with the big tires.

How's this holding up bvb for you with the big mt tires? Did you find 3.2 wheels with a 12mm hex, or find 14mm hexs that fit the Wendigo?

I dont need another scale truck, but I do need some monster truck axles. These are looking more appealing than AR60s as far as jump survivability goes.

They are t Maxx tires and rpm wheels. 17mm hexes with adapters. I turned it full monster truck now. The axles are really good. Here's a video of some pretty sweet jumps.

That does fly pretty well. Seems like they hold up alright. Any tips to putting the Wendigo axles under the smt chassis? What shocks are you using?

I used the Wendigo shocks. Made my own axle mounted servo mount and 4 link mount. The links are SMT10 and Wendigo. All Wendigo except the rear bottom which are SMT10. I made it 4 link front and used a scx10 skid in the center mated to the SMT10 skid because I wanted a 4 link front instead of leading arms. You can just use the SMT10 lower and Wendigo links for the top though.

That seems too easy...

Got any close up pics of your servo mount?

Yeah and I have a video on it as well. Nothing fancy but a decent description of how I did it. Couple pics of the links also.

I know this threads damn near 2 yrs old, but

How's the handling with the locked front? I've got a custom mt on ar60s that I run clod sized tires, and mud basher on. Also have a capra on the wendigo axles, already set up for soa, so swapping would be easy, just wondering how it would drive if I did.
