Simple Green makes tires sticky. Try letting them soak in it for a bit then rinse them off...you should be able to stick them to each other right after that lol. But it picks up a lot of crud fast and loses that tack right away.

Another amazing build!
I have a question. How long were links before bending?

Many thanks

Awesome build! I just started getting into modding the chassis/links/wheels when I stripped out the spur cap. Really wish the metal gear set had a metal cover!

Little update. I haven't done a lot to my truck as I've been busy catching up on house work and playing with the kiddos. I did manage to squeeze in enough time to strip the old copper orange anodizing from the frame and beadlocks. I also painted the body white. I know it won't look good after the next run but that's part of the reason I did it. Scratch a little of the while to expose the black giving it character. Next thing I want to do is the BTA mod. All in due time.

Nice but chassis looks too small for 2.2 crawler :P

Been a while on this build guys, been working on my 1/24 Crawler. Anyway, I decided to get a proline '73 Bronco body. Got it all trimmed out except for a little finish sanding but I'm really liking it. The dimensions fit great. Now I just need to figure out how to mount it and paint.

With those tires and flex you'll definitely have to do some trimming to that bronco body.

consider some wheelbase wideners. 13mm will really help you here.
with the taller tires you will be limiting your turning radius when the tires hit the
suspension links and/or motors and/or shocks

besides that looks good

How's the build coming? I just bought 3 RS10's. One for myself and 2 for my sons.
Really looking forward to seeing how yours turns out

Sorry guys I've been super busy at work. Haven't had any time to work on the rig. I did decide to sell the bronco body to my buddy and do some extensive trimming to the stock redcat hummer. I also painted it silver. I am going to trim the body posts a little shorter, work on getting the behind the axle mod completed and a few other odds n ends buttoned up this coming week as I am on vacation.

It's a little late to tell you but spray carb cleaner and a rag will take the factory paint right off of the stock shell. Then you can paint it on the underside. Looks good though!
