Default Building my first trailer

This is inspired by the some of the fullsize trailer builds I've seen, using the HF utility trailer as a base. I've been wanting to build one myself for years, but I simply don't have anywhere to store it.

I decided to do the next best thing and build one 1/10.

The frame is a 1/10 copy of the HF, built using basewood.
I went with an over-sized basewood deck, and balsa panel sides.
The axle is just a mock-up for now, sitting on plastic leaves. The wheels are about the right scale, but look incredibly small next to the massive wheels on my SCX.

I started some staining/weathering.

Frankly, I'm not all that happy with it right now, but I want to keep going and see how it looks with a real axle, and some slightly larger wheels.

The end result might be drastically different than how it looks now.
