Well first. After last years brutal mistake on my behalf using excuses to not finish the event. I am going to quote something from a good friend who was rather upset that I never finished the 2011 TTC "you should expect more from yourself, than you do of your drivers!" So this year I highly intend to do better than I should or can do. I will not give up, and if I have to tow Teeny across lines to a finish, I will! Second, just because you didnt get voted in has nothing to do with anything. Just because you dont have 60 points means nothing. Them UTAH boys can run 12 point trucks and win. You get that truck out there and show everyone that we made a mistake! Third, I am very happy to once again be running the TTC for a chance at redemption. It is an honor and a privledge to see new rides and some classics back it. I cant wait, and wish you all good luck. Lets make this years TTC the best anyone has ever seen. |

Congrats to everyone who made the cut for the privelage to run in this years TTC event! The vote was very difficult due to all the killer builds but I took the time to check out every truck before making my descision and voted for what I felt was the best truck and not for the driver who has been around the longest or who is the most well known on RCC as I'm sure most did as well. If you didn't get in this year shoot for next year or run in C3 and show everyone what your truck is made of. Look forward to seeing and meeting everyone and especially the greatest scale builds on the Net!!! |

Holy crap, I just squeaked in!! It was tough sneaking a peak here and there while at work today. Thank you to all of you who voted for my FJ45, I promise to beat it till it's dead and rob parts from everything I can to keep it in the show! I'd also like to congratulate all the others who made it in, it will be epic I'm sure. I can't wait to see you all there! To those who didn't get in, several of us will be running C3 as well so anything can happen. Be ready incase someone can't make the TTC. Keep trying for next year, anything can happen and I hope you all make it next year! Last edited by chino63; 08-05-2012 at 10:12 PM. |

Congrats for the boys voted in. You deserve it. Question...who is doing the official filming for the event? I would like to make a request, and hope others would second it. For us in the cheap seats that can't attend, and who watch 1:1 Top Truck Challenges each year, I'd love to see the format similar to how they do it. Intro of the rig, intro to the drivers, obviously the action, and plenty of misc filler footage of attendees enjoying the event. I enjoy reading the forums, but rarely get to see the builder behind the username. Well, that's what I want for Christmas. Oh, and Harley, the new TTC rules...Wow, I can only imagine how many questions they are going to field on that one! After seeing this year's, I'd only want to see a few rigs kicked out. 2012 is on the intergoogle, but here's a link. Top Truck Challenge 2012 Highlights PART 1 - YouTube And part two. Congrats to everyone that got voted in! Thanks to everybody that voted, I know how tough it was to choose just 12. Make sure your trucks are ready, it's going to be the toughest most epic TTC ever! We will open a spot in the Eventbrite soon so everyone can get paid up. For Pancho and Highmark that were 13th and 14th in the voting, don't despair and be ready......if any of the 14 guys can't make it, you two are the alternates! Thanks again, and see you all soon! Tim.
