So not to sound like a complete idiot here..... but I purchased a ticket for the TTC (the very last one) and my name is listed on eventbrite. Why am I not in the line up to compete? I know I'm gonna feel stupid here but I'm really lost as this is my first time trying to compete. I have my truck built, I took the time off from work. I only live about 3-4 hours away. I'm ready. I just need to know what the deal is because to be honest I'm confused. Please excuse my forum noobness.

The TTC is a vote in competition and you didn't make it . You will be refunded your entry fee.....sorry but you should really read a bit more before jumping the gun .

I would have paid right away. I support my family on my income only. My RC budget comes from side work. I never take $ out of my normal income. We just had our 3rd child, time to make extra $ has been very limited. I was supposed to go help on the TTC courses tomorrow, but I cant even get away for that. The baby is only two weeks old and momma bear needs my help alot. I know its only $50. I paid the entry as soon as I got it. I also owed Warpig some $ for parts. It wouldnt be right for me to spend any $ until I paid him off....even tho he told me he could wait. Thats just not right to me. If you owe someone you need to make it right. Now that im paid and ready to go, I cant wait to throw down with you guys.

Let me ask you guys this: Are you all gonna play a litte conservative and focus on driving smart to win. Or are you going throw caution to the wind and let your rig eat for a spectacular show?

I tend to overthink when I try too hard and end up making mistakes. I'm gonna let my mind go to it's happy place and just do what feels right, and fun, when the time comes.
As a general rule though, I believe most problems can be overcome by generous applications of stupid pedal.
