I wish something definitive would come across this thread about these winches. This is worse than every last episode of every season in Breaking Bad, a total cliffhanger. Whats the going rate now for one of these winches used? Id like to find out so I can decide if a want to design my own winch to be sold as new. Seems like there alot of ppl waiting for these winches to come back on board, so to me the demand is there, just dont know why they havent been picked up and made by someone else other than the fact that there must have been no profit in them at there old price. I guess the deal is we need to make it known what we would be willing to pay for these now. Im guessing the $350 mark would get someone making them again. I would pay that to not have to go through the trouble of designing my own.

Usually when a grouse product comes out, people fall all over them selves to do their own version, but this winch seems to be hands off deal.....how come

I am sure there is more than one vendor here that could not only do a highmount, but ALSO keep up with customer demands at the same time....looking at you VP
