well set aside 5-7 hours. theres A LOT of parts...if youve got a small electric screw driver that you can put allan tools in that would speed it up significantly...i just got lazy and didn't wanna walk out to the shop to get mine. i think i got mine to a roller with tires mounted in 6 hours

6 hrs oh I can't wait. I am just worried about the gears and bearings? How does yours feel? Were your bearings loose?

i replaced the bearings that the final drive gear rides on with avid bearings. ive got a full set of 10mm bearings to replace the 8mm ones with and the 10mm versions are 4mm wide instead of 2.5. i spoke to bender about it and he said that would be a good upgrade and as long as im careful to keep the holes true when i drill them that everything would work out nicely.

Well I got one of my new 3rd gears in tonight, the one I tore out only had 4 teeth left. I guess that's what happens when you run 35t motors. I guess I'll put the rear one in friday night since I had to work 14 hours today. Hey m energy I'll give you a call tommorrow about riding together saturday.

In all the photo shoots they had the body held on with velcro. Yours looks good by the way!

thanks! i finished mounting it this evening and it sits a lot lower on the chassis...looks how i was wanting it to. after some trial and error i finally got the 4pk dialed in and got to do some night time back yard crawlin on my little pile.

the rig seems to do really well but ill know more after i get to play in the day light...

Great! I look forward to meeting all of you. Be sure to introduce yourselves if we forget! I will be there just before 9 and will be driving a grey F250 crew cab. If you see it sitting in the parking lot and no one else is around follow the trail that leave the top edge of the parking lot all the way out to the water. in the picture below you can see the trail leaving the parking lot at the top left corner of the parking lot...follow it all the way out and sort of to the left...you wont miss it

Itty the XR turned out tight as hell. Wish you had a build thread. Looks like you dropped some serious coin into making it right. I cant wait to see first hand what these things are capable of. Yall be sure to take a ton of pics tomorrow. Meanwhile, i'll be battling traffic at Willie B.
