|  Shock recommendations?????
In the process of building a SCX based scaler. Got a chassis from Matzilla, got some wraith axles, got some Roc lox tires and Mayhem Wheels. The original plan was to use Pro Line shocks but was thinking maybe something alittle cheaper (better)? I have a stock set of Wraith shocks, could I use those? So what do you guys recommend? SHOCKS.....SPRINGS......WEIGHT OIL? Want it to be more of a scaler than a basher. |

The stock scx10 shocks are fine. I have been running them forever and never had an issue. I am running the proline springs and 40wt oil.  |

I don't think they are. I believe I have some scx10 shocks...if I do they are yours if you want em....

I just got my hands on a Mattzilla chassis recently too. The shock mounts are a good bit shorter than on a SCX chassis. I found that the SCX shocks worked well but sat the rig a little too high. I mocked the rig up with some shorter shocks (roughly 86mm) and it looks like its going to work well and give me a nice low stance. I think the SCX shocks are 90mm so they would also work but might need a softer spring.
