We have basically restored a 93 notchback. Started a pretty stock 4 banger and beat up in late June.

2 months ago is was to this point

And as it sits today....

It's been a long road with no end in sight. Cage, built 2.3, turbo, SN95 swap for better brakes, and 8.8 are what we are working toward now.

That looks pretty good, for a Ford.

lol, just messin' with ya, it looks great bud.

Do you guys take it to the track at all?

I run at Mooresville, Darlington, the Rock and VMP quite a bit.

Here's my Daily Driver and Drag car...

It's a 05 Dodge Magnum R/T

We're not afraid to pull sh!t out either...

Here's what we dropped in.

Here's a few action shots.

So I'm guessing that I'll be breaking parts at Marcus'. I'm not one to be light on the throttle.

Marcus' house is HELL. I have yet to drain a 5000mah pack without breaking something. I think I might need to get some smaller packs. Lol....the magnum looks sweet.

Very nice. We frequent Shadyside quite often in the summer but we don't have a anything to run down the track yet.

Josh, I think you and I should try running some 800's so we can get a full charge on them when we get home from Marcus's.

If its hell, I'll love it. I'm sure I'll break something. At least they're cheaper than car parts.

Burleson the wagon is sweet! Stroker motor? Looks like we got more in common then I thought. LOL Here is my DD/Toy,

Just a few bolt ons, CAI,Kooks long tubes w/cats,BB cat back, thermostat, catch can,Paramount trans w/dominator converter, paramount transfercase, Johan email tune. It runs 8.0 in 1/8th. Need a race tune, kinda soft in the middle.

My place here does seem to take its toll on parts! LOL Most of us run wraiths so you'll fit right in.

Holy Crap! LOVE the SRT Jeeps. So damn sexy. Alright bud what's your screen name on LXForums? I'm Concussion.

Ok, so the latest build:

Arrington Forged 6.1 10.9:1 Compression
Modern Muscle stage 3 intake manifold
Modern Muscle Heads, reworked by Bryan Maloney
HUGE Cam (We might have over cammed the car)
SRT4 Stage 1 injectors
Paramount Dominator 'verter
Paramount Flexplate
Paramount Getrag (8.8 will be installed once we figure out the gearing)
Paramount Fully Built Trans
LMI-PickleFork Intake
Kooks Longtubes and Mids w/ HF Cats
Tuned by Mike at OSTDyno

I race in the superstock class of the Modern Street Hemi Shootout.

You MUST come and race with us.

The Carolina Group may be making a comeback.

Sweet!!! does or will Mike tune jeeps. I'd like to get a better tune. I think it should be in the 7's. I run 100 in it all the time now that we have it at the pump close by. Would love to race some time. As long as you come to Shadyside too. I on CherokeeSRT8 under hot rod jeep. I've been on LX afew times but don't remember my log on there.

Mike definitely tunes jeeps. He just picked up a GC SRT8. Same model as yours. He can do email/remote tunes as well as remote dyno tunes. He live in PA and has a dyno on his property. He is hands down the best tuner I've worked with.

I assume Shadyside is a 1/8 mile track. Ive never ran there. Where is it exactly? I'll race with ya there, but you'll have to come and hit the rock or dalrington too.

I'm chasing a couple of demons with this build. I should have just dropped in a 440. Next time (which may be sooner than later). But I'm hoping to have them sorted just after the holidays.

You need to get back on lxf. There is so much info there. Plus the people are killer.

What's the matter? You scared to run that caddy down the track??

(Is that tempting enough? Or do you need more ball busting?)

Ummm yep it has stock rear end that is very notorious for crying uncle if hammered on especially at a track with some traction

Oh I think you'll be fine unless you're running drag radials or slicks. I've seen CTS-Vs with a tune and pulley change run in 11s all day without issues.

Besides if ya do break the rear it makes it easier to explain to the wife why ya "have to" upgrade it.

BTW guys, I got my wraith running last night. Broke a few parts in about 30 seconds. The Holmes 13T Crawlmaster, BR-XL and Holmes hold are no joke. Lil' bastard is fast with gobs of torque.

I'm sure I'm gonna break parts at Marcus' place, but that's part of the fun.
