Though I know you guys up there in the PNW have some experience with this. I remember Spidermonkey running 2 servos on each end of a super, and I know John does as well.

I know there is an issue with Johns synchronizer now though, with it powering up right?
i will probobly run it as it is for now and see what happens. my servos dont get too hot so seems to me they are going to be o.k. we'll see.

man I wish they ran supers in our local clubs:-( I would build one forsure!
i wanted to keep them low on the axle and have the horns facing down to keep from killing them in a backward roll. also having the linkage kick up to the knuckle while centerd makes a near staright line when the servos swing and i would think that would be the strongest position for the link to be in when there is that much force being exerted.

ya its weird! you have to plug in power and then unplug and plug it back in. not sure what the problem is. i think it needs a better power supply. maybe run it off a bec instead of the esc. we only run that off the esc the servos have there own bec's.

the synchronizers actually help you set epa's too. you can individually adjust each servo with it. so they travel exactly the same distance. and also have the same zero point.

figured i would get some measurements up.
weight complete car 6lbs 3oz
i added another 9 oz to the front
and the battery puts me right at 7lbs
i think i can start shaving some weight in other areas to drop her down to 6.5lbs but i will work on that after i get some drive time

width

wheelbase

ride height/droopout

2.2 comparison

the super juices were in the house at our local comp taking the top 2 spots.

this car is amazing. i had a few issues. i put a shady servo in the rear and it caused me a few problems on the first course causing a dnf sitting at the finish gate with a -10

secound course -10 cleaned it

on my way to the third course i took one of my legendary clumsy ass falls down a rock face throwing my car in the process. it came down on the front tire and broke a front link.

oh well, i started the course thinking a 40 was better than a 50.

i started in reverse and for the hell of it tried the first gate. cleared it, well lets try the second, cleared it, and so on to the finish. ended up finishing the 10 gate course in reverse with a broken front link with a +6

i ended up in second place, being beat by another superjuice

all and all the car preformed great for the first comp. i need to get some new shoes and stop falling!!

not that it matters but they were the super bullies, on another superjuice chassis. both cars absolutely dominated.

the bergs have an undeniable steering, weight, and width advantage but the bullies are working out great. if you are wanting a budget build trucknuts i won't be dissapointed if you go that route. getting more supers out there is the real goal.

Really. And that advantage took you all the way to a second place finish behind the bullys if I am correct.

What a sweet Super I might have to retire my clod and hustler chassis for a set up like this... What is your clearance under the axles?
