well after going the clod route i was having some issues. steering was one, weight another, broken part availabilty was the straw that broke the camels back so to say. after seeing a couple berg supers i was impressed and had to get on the boat. i am going to be winging this build with just some ideas that have been floating around in my head and some ideas from some other very well executed cars.(superdave) i do believe that without his 300's a car like this would be out of the question as has been proven by the few others that have attempted these builds previously. ................and we are off........................ my plan is to try to get as much available steering as i can with a 4link setup. might not be 50 degrees but it will be more that the other options available. the car has to be LIGHT. i am shooting for a 6.5 lbs. range. and i want to use my 4pk because me and the sticks dont get along. first i had to do something for the upper link mounts that are now of center when you use two long side tubes. also the front will have twin 8711's so a mount had to be fabed for them as well. |

i had to do something similiar for the uper mount in the rear but since i will only be using one servo back there i will use a different style servo mount. now she is in the jig and links are being figured out. the uppers will be 10-24 all thread sleeved with stainless steel tubing and should be plenty strong. the lowers are still undecided at this point. i will have a better idea once the wheel and tires get here and i can get them mounted up. |

Bad @$$!!!! Subscribed. When can I get parts to build my own? BTW, your HPI blast wheels and Soft compound Panther Plowboys came home with me from Oklahoma after Crawlapalooza. They are going to be narrowed and have dual stage foams made up for them before being sent home to Alabama |

| Get some MKS HV300 and your looking at 1066oz's Plus if you bought three they are only about $60each. But I think the US importer might bump the price up so about $80 but you would still have to pay shipping if you bought them direct. I love the look of these super bergs. They look so wicked. They might be what brings back supers. Incredible rig, so clean. Do you have access to a CNC machine to make all those mounts? I assume so as you have to get your chassis made somewhere. Can't wait to see updates. Kieren |

Superdave's Super at Crawlapalooza was a berg torsion with dual steering servos up front. It was just ridiculous the power it had and turning radius with his 300 CVD's. It looked crazy lite weight as well.
