I finally got to take this truck for a real shakedown run.....and it performed very nicely! I still need to change a few things on the radio, but overall, I am VERY happy!

Here are some action shots:

You gotta love this clearance!

Looks so killer. I think these skinny super tires are why I keep narrowing my 2.2's so much. Been on a skinny tire kick since I started studying the super forum.
BTW-Just picked another 3.5 tons of 120 pound class riprap.

Haha! Awesome!

Those tires arent narrowed at all. They sit on 1.6" wide rims and measure 2.5" mounted up. Oh, and they stick like glue to the rocks down on the beach!!

Rig looks great. I've been following this build for a while. Everytime I see this crawler I want to sell all my black stuff and buy white.

A few finishing touches on this truck before it is ready for ACC.

v84x4 from SuperShafty.com contacted me with something new that he had been working on for the Kyosho RT5 Velvet shocks....a cap for a rod end conversion. I have always had to a bit of trouble on all my trucks keeping the stock cap out of the chassis...these new rod ends take care of that! They also make the shocks slightly longer which should be perfect for this truck. Also, with the stock plastic caps, I have found that if you overtighten them, they will leak slightly...that should not be an issue with these caps.

The caps as they arrive:

Next to a stock cap:

Installed:

And how my truck sits now:

Perfect!

Is your passenger rear lower bent more then drvs side? I know the pic has some angle but it seems more then the front link differences.

Looks good btw
