Started sticking some tube together. Wish my bender did tighter bends:? I think it'll turn out when its finished. Bellypan, door bars, gussets, panels.....

Thought I read it was a Raven Racing Chassis?

The more I look at my chassis the more I hate it. It's symmetrical, but it just looks stubby and wide. Also my WB is 16" in that pic. I set the Rok loks up at that length and they have about 4" between them. I think I'm gonna stretch her out some more.

Your right, (were did you read that its a Raven Racing Chassis?). The guy that owns that buggy (Tj Tayler) is my buddy. We alway give him chit and tell him that its a JACC, (just another Crash Chassis). Crach is the guy the owned Raven racing.

I'll let him know that your building a scale rig after his. His head will be so big he wont be able to walk. HAHA

I guess it's not bad for 3 hrs of sleep I layed it on top of my CD3 rig and it's actually the same dimensions as that chassis. Other than wheel base which is 17 3/4" I think I'm gonna cut some out of the cab area.

OVIron, I thought it was JT Taylor? Isn't Raven Racing an Offshore Boat Racing team? I've been looking for some more detailed drawrings() pics, of it. It must be a top secret design. Tell him it's a killer looking chassis

yea it's Tj Taylor( sometimes my hand is faster the my brain), Don't know if I can get you anything but next time I see it I'll get you some measurments of it. And there may be a Ravin racing Offshore team but my buddy Crash (Harrison Bean) onwed Raven Racing here in Colorado Springs. He no longer builds chassis.

They actually are the same width as the standard narrowed axles. That makes sence :? The pigs is slammed and the rims are 2 1/2" wide I'm gonna shoot for 1 3/4"

I lied they are 10" hex to hex. Corn Dog 2.1 is 10.5" hex to hex.

EDIT:
The front axle is 11" hex to hex. It's my rear that's 10.5" :?

I'm really thinkin I need the X-Loks for this rig. These tires, though AWESOME, are just ridiculous for a Super. They're just fawking HUGE.

Compare

I mean they're too big for this thing too

This is just more sensible

I think I'm gonna scrap the chassis too.

That actually gave me an idea. I saw in an off road magazine yesterday. It was an prototype concept Jeep thing w/ 40'' tires it was lo something.

It was kinda sorta like this.

Edit: Found it! Although not the best pics, its the red one.

Double Edit: More like this.

You can do it!

I guess if you're gonna use Rockwells you might as well have 52" tires. That thing is gonna be bonkers.

But back on topic, those Rok Lox are HUGE. I didn't realize they were that big.

1/8 scale = 69x25x32
1/6 scale = 52x19x24
1/4 scale = 35x12.50x16
