Default Racer`s Y-Town Lightweight-SuperXr

Since I sold my Super Juice Bully I build a new super class for the Nationals.

first i start with berg parts XR mod starts at page 2

Time is short but should fit all. The goal is to drive the French championships end July with the new Superberg.

Last few weeks I spend with put together my parts, and to order them.

The first parts have arrived, the rest will arrive in the coming weeks also.

I want to Thank, many vendors up here, to make my build possible:

- Eric-D-Lux ( Axles )
- Chris-the-battary-men ( electronics)
- Krawlfreak ( Chassie, probably in the near future more parts)
- Team Brood ( Motors)
- Crawlerinnovations ( tires and Foams)
- SDS custumez ( Super 300HD^s)
- and some other guys who produce nice parts for me

Here a short Parts list

- Superbergaxles with d-lux goods
- Super 300`s HD
- XR 10 C`s
- Wraith knuckles
- Team Brood Racing 45t HHK
- 2x Hitec 7980 TH Servos
- 2x BRXL ESCs
- Custume Titanum Links ( thanks to moes670)
- Y- Town Superjuice V3 chassie
- for the Moment HPI Blasts with 7.75" BCs ( Future on Carbon Wheels)
- Costume Weightholder system
- Big bore Shocks 3.5"

Now lets see how light the Rig ends up.

Chassie Mounted out of the Box with 60% Steelhardware.

7.75 Bc`s on HPI blast incl. SLW hubs ( washers are on the way)

Finished Links with Ti rock sliders . Thanks to Marc

Looks awesome so far. I am in the same process with the same chassis looking to hit sub 6 pounds when finished.

Looks great. If I had not just built a crazy exspensive 2.2 I would also be making the switch from bully to Berg based axles with all the lightweight goodness.

What are you going to use to mount the shocks to the links?

I will use a "clamp" similar to Jeremys on his " Nextlevel build" , will have some pictures soon.

Come on Everett, don't you think the guy you saw with the wheels has the chassis as well.

I placed my own order for a Super Juice last night.

Time for some updates.

Get some Parts today. Big thanks to Erik for all the nice Stuff.

Should be possible to bring 2 Axles inkl. Servos under 2.5 LB so 3.5 LB for the rest of my Rig.

And the Steering looks good. over around 50° with no rubbing with 8" Khaos and 350 hubs on a Blast Wheel. ( with this setup is to wide around 15.5" because my delrintubes are 0.8" longer each side.

In the near future i will run some Carbonwheels with some wider hubs. This will bring me down to 14" track wide

Looks great Manu!

For the upper link mounts, they usually work better when you put the rod end inside the mount. You can also run them on the outside like you are but I strongly suggest a cross brace between. If you do run the rod ends in the middle, you will likely just need to put a small washer or two on the inside to take up the space.

Do some work on my Super this Weekend and now she`s a Roller without Super300`s ( put some Wraith CVDs in to be able to mount wheels)

Current Weight incl. electronics 2500g (5.5LB) with a lot of Steel hardware.

Here some Pictures:

Front suspension, incl. chassie doublers and 3.5" Bigbores

Front steering and mounted Weightholder for my system with CFK Wheels

amount of possible rear steer

i think i`m at a good starting point to save some weights.

Next steps are:

- CFK Wheels
- Steering linkage in Titanium
- Some Ti Screws
- Lathe down the Bigbores
- Weight system

Looks like your interested in my track wide , now i`m at 360mm with inverted Blast and 475er hubs. Probably i will cut my Tubes a little bit down to reach 360mm with 850er hubs with my Carbon wheels
