Got my two Crash XR larger servo mounts on today, they are WAY stronger than the CF/Delrin mount I had made originally!
Thanks Crash!

Well, I got a chance to run it this weekend and it seemed to do pretty good. I am used to a 8.5" Rovers on my SuperBerg, so with 7.75" Claws I'll need to pay more attention for break overs and axle clearance. It still needs some suspension tuning (I'm swapping to Big Bores) & I'm getting some hopping from the Claws that I'll need to work on, but I think it did great for the first time on the rocks.

I need to get used to a +2 pound lighter Super with shorter tires then I used to run, but that will all come with time practicing with it.

Current weight is at 6lbs 10oz RTR (w/ a 850mah 3s & 6.5oz of knuckle weight each side) all before I have done anything toward lightening. I will be drilling some gears and motor plates to begin with, but not until I nail the suspension down first.

I'll try and get more pictures up of the electronics and as I change the suspension to my liking.

Questions for those running XR Supers:
What are your RTR weights at?
Where have you been losing weight from?

Not much to report.
I had some radio issues at our last comp which kept this rig from performing at its best, but radio troubles are now fixed (internal connection at the wheel).
Had some more tuning time with it last weekend. I changed some upper link locations and tire foams, it seems to be sticking to the rocks better now!
Driver is still getting used to this lighter rig, but I seem to feel more comfortable each time I drive it, so that is good. Still not as confident as I was with my SuperBerg, but I'm sure it will come with more wheel time.

Here are a few pictures from last comp (thanks to cboggs)...

Thanks Chris.
Same as posted earlier 6lbs 10oz. I have not had time to tear the axles down to drill anything out yet.
Hopefully I can find some time between now and Best of the West, but no promises as I have a WARCRC comp and the Wife's birthday weekend in there too!
