Yeah, they're a great starting point for the money and the electronics aren't as bad as everyone says. I've been running a 3s lipo with the stock esc, rx and motors with no issues. They get a little hot but not bad. Look at my build thread "mad torque build, cheap and easy" |

| Re: mad torque restock If you run the big wheels, need to go smaller on the pinions or you will smoke something. If you get the ARTR buy a Fly-Sky GT6B stick radio so you have plenty of channels to use. You will have to mod the left stick and get rid of the ratchet feel and add a centering spring. Look up losikid on RCC maybe he has another stick you get from him if you go that way. It comes with its on cable to program it.

| Re: mad torque restock Super bullies are heavy as hell, keep an eye on my build for info on new options coming to the mad torque via DLux. Hopefully both my finished axles are going to weigh around 3/4 of one super bully axle.

You can also add the dlux tubes and get close to 300gr for the axles.

Ok, you can get them light it's just pretty expensive. Stock mt axles axles weigh around 275 grams with no lightening.

Do you have any plans to change to a cvd or universal instead of the dog bone style?

That's what I'm working on right now, I'm trying to find a shaft that I won't have to change my knuckles for, but I'll probably go with bully knuckles and shortened super bully shafts. Topped off with all berg gears.

It would be better to find a way to round off the current tube and bolt a chub to it! Those bully shafts will be heavy! Even better would be for someone to make an adapter similar to the delrin ones that Chris the battery man makes for running the xr shafts in an ax10. Make an adapter that gives the tubes a little more length to allow a full bully axle, and allow to bolt a chub to the end! Last edited by Tgreer; 01-23-2013 at 11:51 AM.

That's something else I was looking into doing. Using ax10 inner C's and modding the current tubes or making new tubes to accept them and gaining a little width that way.
