| i didn't know they were that cheap. well in that case i'll sell 'em to ya for 6 bucks shipped. i just guessed on the price cause i'm not sure how much they'd cost to ship. now that i think about it i guess it'd just be a couple dollars. but i got 'em in case you need them. and trust me if you're gonna stay with the stock plastic you'll need a couple spares. |

If you need some OEM axle braces I have plenty and can send you four of them at no charge except maybe shipping. And that depends on where you live. Let me know. Carl |

no just to figure out servo mounting, i would like to mount them on top of the gearbox, and mount the batteries on the axle braces, and suggestions for this?

Hmm, never seen servos mounted on the gear box proper. I have seen them mounted vertically and to the left of the center line. Or I've seen them mounted on the right side in various configurations. With the package of axle braces I just sent you this afternoon I also included two additional braces that you can use to mount the servos. You will see when you get them. Carl |

| torsion style " stick chassis "
I made my own stick " torsion " pimpcane type chassis for around 12 dollars total , and I still have enough alum. channel to build about five more. A 8 foot piece of 1/2 inch channel from Ace hardware for 9 dollars and some change and a couple of nylon bolts and nuts for another 3 or 4 bucks from the same place is all you need to make your own. It is the same as some companies are charging 35 dollars and up for I made one for around five dollars total for on and still have alot of material for a few more. I am not trying to cut anyones throat , just trying to help out the other finacially challeneged folks.

| i cant bring myself to lock those diffs. those things probably belong in a museum seeing as how they are at least 15 years old and still not locked.

Spider gears are for people who are afraid of heights lol. I thought about doing the same thing and buying a locker, just peace of mind knowing nothing would ever come un-locked and crumble around in my diff-housing. I just 2-part epoxy'd my 10 year old Clod diffs last night without batting an eye....Must be the fabricator/warranty-murderer in me hahaha lol.
