Don't know? But Brett from CPE said that the chassis has over 100 hours of testing and that it handles great. We will see in the near future! If it doesn't, I have everything I need to convert it into a stick! PM me on the wheels, post a pic please! Last edited by dezfan; 06-21-2006 at 10:50 PM. | |

How much did you clearence the steering stops. I was playing with the steering on mine last night and it doesn't offer much. I don't want to take to much off and break something from to much of a turning angle.

I understand the torsion bar as the spring, I was referring to just a shock.

I'll have pics up tomorrow. Here is a pic of the stub axle after I modded it. Stock it rubs on the axle and limits the throw. I did the same thing on my 2.2 TLT crawler.

Yup, it's so simple, I don't know why more people don't do it? Now if I could find a "sponsor" for a BL setup in the Corporal, I would be set! :-P |

Well I completed my front axle for the most part. I still need to order my motors (65t lathes this time until I can afford the HH Revolvers) and I need to make my motor mounts and clear covers. Finished the BTA steering set up as well. I flipped the knuckles, built a new carbon fiber link, and used the CPE servo mount and a little modded piece of aluminum angle to get the servo where I wanted it. Also built a new battery tray mounted on the axle out of Carbon fiber. I made it a little larger that the one on my NN. This were I intend to mount my battery instead of on the Claw chassis. So here are a couple pics, if you have any questions I'll do my best to answer them. On to the rear axle! |

I was talking about the braces that you could mount the links to.

Also it looks like a tight fit for a link by the servo?

The CPE servo mount is adjustable and allows for upward movment if needed. In the pic it slide forward and back, now w/ the mount I made it will slide up and down! |
