Default Under Knuckle Batteries

I've looked high and low using search... no dice...

What 40 series wheels work for under the knuckle batteries?

Sub C specifically.

sub c's on aluminum knuckles?

And this one around post 16 and on:
EP's Stick round two

I plan on using the Proline velocity narrowed to about 2" and 3-4 sub C's on each Front knuckle, but am wondering if the Moped will handle 8 cells? All the paperwork I just unpacked says 4-7 cells....I know you have some experience with them, Any words of wisdom?

yeah, he states that the sub C's will tuck under the 40 series velocity wheels just fine, I even test fitted some loose cells @ the LHS with my Velocities and stock knuckles and there appears to be just enough room.

These are what I'm gonna run http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXFNF7&P=0

What wheel adapters are you running? CVD's?

IMO the Velocity 6's are the best, followed by the Mamba's. Most of the 23mm wheels will not work, unless you run your batterys behind the knuckles or wide adapters. Same goes for the discontinued Outbacks.

New era clod to max adapters, similar to rc guy adapters. Stock clod axles for now, TTr/MIP cvd's in the not to distant future.

Stan i have ran 8 cells on one of my mopeds and haven't had any problems, you gain a lot more wheelspeed and low end, i'am running 9 tooth on that rig i have ran around 10 packs through it, but the manufacturer doesn't reccomended it though it's up to you good luck

x2....I love my XTM Thorns. I can run the batteries on the knuckles and still have room to put stick on wheel weights inside the rim.

A buddy has Outback's on his Clod that uses TXT outer axles and the TXT plastic hub adapter thing. They fit Sub Cs.

hey crawl rookie, they will work on the outbacks with no wideners. i ran them and it is really close but it works. also you will probably have to place them on the opposite side of the steering tierod and draglink. i dont think they will fit under the knuckle without messing with the steering. but they will fit and also add the weight to the wheels
