It's a good idea to mount the winch under the hood
i've seen some guys mount it on their axles, stupid huh
but i'm also surprised that a 80oz servo snapped something
are you just gonna use reg rope instead How about a steel cable

Well mounting it to the axle is good to keep COG down, but I dont plan on actually "winching" to anything really. Im just going to use it to lower the ride hight in the front. I think im just going to go out to the shed and rob some 17lb test fishing line off of my stealhead rod. That will have less memmory and is a LOT stronger than the phone wire.

well, cant really go any further till I get my links, and wheels. I really cant make up my mind on what color powdercoat. Double J can get it in a REALLY cool looking copper vein. I think that would look sweet. anyone here ever seen this color before in person?
