Picked her back up from double-J today. Awsome guy, Highly recomend him to everybody. He even let me take it without paying HA! ...although he knows where I work. Anyway, he did a great job and made my link mounts and what not. I moved some things around this evening and tightened up some of the mounts just to see what she looks like and in my opinion its F'n Sweet. I cant w8 to get some time to get the servos mounted and get my radio and electronics in her. Here are some pics I took next to my xxx bk2 buggy tonight. ....not sure why? |

Kinda cold. he has given you nothing but complements through out this thread and simply thanked me for finishing it up since you didn't want to do it any longer. Now you'r throwing a rental storage fee on him.?? Did you previously agree on the storage fee. And $25 a day is kinda steep. I paid $30 a month for my truck. I'll PM Jesse and see what's up? | |

Got the front and rear servos mounted thismorning as well as the "KC" lights on the hood. Looks like im not going to have any steering radias at all. Cant seem to get this RC4wd kit to work without binding. Might need a differant horn. Still have no clud how I want to attach the hood. I cant bring myself to zip tie it. Although that would work. I have my kid all day today so I cant do any dremmal work to the chassi to prep it for paint. but tomarrow I should get that all done. I also am going to need a servo extension cord. my 130$ servo just doesnt have any cord to it. Ohh well here are a couple pics, tell me what you think of the lights! Anyways.. this thing should start moving soon! |

Back on topic, the reason your getting steering blind is because your link going to from the servo to knuckle isn't long enough. Look at your servo horn it needs to be straight if you lenghten that link prolly will work better. Are you running full foam in your tires ? It look like it, it work better if cut your foam into a star pattern.

I ditched the RC4wd kit and modified it to work the normal way. Also modded the springs to use and internal mini T spring that keeps the truck fully compressed all the time, or the lowest CG possible. Made a huge differance in the balance of it. Didnt loose any suspension travel either. here are some updated pics also need to narrow and cut the foams, but I have a lot of other stuff to do before that. still have trouble with the steering not working as well as Id like. but i'll addres that tomarrow. |

Neither one of those names go well with the music you used in your videos. I think it needs some kind of "Metal" name. Other than that though it turned out prety good. |
