OSRC - thanks for the reply and the links. I think I had read your CR01 Custom Chassis thread before but it makes more sense now. I did read somewhere about the Droop, and do recall a thread where you mentioned your shock towers, will go searching and try to understand the droop. I think I know what I'm doing tomorrow afternoon!

10 seconds later - found a thread where you go over your droop set up. If I understand it correctly, droop really is just no longer using a cantilever set up, and then another thread talked about having springs inside the shocks... ?... and found that answer now too - Gmade shocks come with the springs inside... looks like I may be getting them or will see what my local hobby store has in stock before ordering online.

Nice thread OSRC - I've just used those alloy chassis cross braces, and was surprised how heavy they are relative to the plastic items - there's probably another 30g to be saved going back to plastic ?
