Its a roller again, took it out and tested it with the slight changes.

I LOVE the cobalt puller, holy This thing rocks!!

Also widened the front to 10 1/2" Not sure if I can get used to that or not. Rear is still at 10 1/8"

I do my best work slightly buzzed Couldnt tell you why that cut is at an angle on the top of the axle... Ended up being a nice place to run the servo wire.

Thanks Sheldon, its the 10t. So far its much faster than the 55t lathe, and has better low end control. I love it! Which one were you running again?

That's great to hear. I'm going to be using my old super rooster in this rig and saw someone mention that it handled the cobalt motor great. I was looking at that motor the other night but figured I had spent enough money in 24 hours. I'll use this old 55t until it catches on fire.....should be ordering the cobalt next week

I was running the 5t, it's a monster. I loved it too, but I kept snapping CVD's. I ended up TIGing the pins in the cup. Now I snap maxx shafts.

If everyone would try a Cobalt Puller motor, there would be no need for standard 540 motors in crawlers.

The rig looks formidable B, I hope you kick some ass. I really dig the servo mount, fantabulous idea.

Hey Tx, I have been running a 10T Cobalt on 9 cells with a Super Rooster in my daughter's K2-4L since the Pullers first came out. It works great and the cobalt magnets give you some drag brake effect. Get one, you won't be disappointed.

The super rooster should handle it just fine. Read Griz's comment below.

Be sure to share the vid of the motor on fire

couldn't wait... Took them out of the package. I think I am going to start on them while I am here (at work)

I got 4 Delrin DP's and 4 Aluminum DP's. Planning on putting my hammers and badlands on these. The delrins will go in the back with 1 or 2 BB's, and the Al's will go up front with 2 or 3. Lots of work and testing to do before Saturday

Thanks again Mayhem, and thanks for the engraving!

Rig look very CLEAN! One question why do you insist on running such a big Lipo? To the point that It justified you to relocate the servo....? I run a 910mah TP and I get 1hr 10min of run time (crawling)! Just curious as to why? I bet you get like 2-3 hrs!

Honestly, because thats what I had. Well at least that was the reason when I was running the 55t lathe. Now with the cobalt puller I want to make sure the motor has all the power it needs (as far as amp draw) so this battery keeps it on the safe side. With a lower mah pack I would be worried with this motor.

I get just under 2 hours with the 55t. We will see how it does today with the cobalt puller.

Also the servo location wasnt solely for the battery, take a look. Its lower, and on the side with a tendency to lift under power

You can expect around 1/3 to 1/2 the run time you did have. But it is well worth it.
