Your to funny.

I've been moving links ,drilling holes, moving shocks and changing oil all day. It's starting to come around.

Got a new crawl spot in the garage, I took a piece of carpet about 8ft x 10ft, and threw it over all the boxes that all the christmas stuff goes in. Great test spot.

I was sitting here looking at this. This just looks like HELL. and it does bind little,I did the 2 short axle thing cause it was easy.

I decided to do something about it and it was just as easy as the 2 short axle thing. I started over, put the long axle in and made a real short axle for the other side. Being in the rear, didn't need the ball end to turn. Drill and pinned it and still have the spline.

Now don't that look better.

You might have noticed that I have springs now. I just couldn't get it to work like I wanted to. Cause I really not a droop kinda guy anyway, just had to try it.
Then by the time I got the springs on and everything moved around, that body wasn't going to work for me either. So slap one of the TLT bodys I had.

looks good man, i really like the idea of doing the rear axle differently. my front shaft is like your rear was, but it site low enough that it doesn't bind any. i just tore down and rebuilt my 1.9 rig and it never even ran haha! here pretty soon i should have this thing running.

Thanks diesel,

I shot this myself ,the one handed driver.Good thing I got a long thumb
Here's the 1st run on it. I got to do somethings to it. I got to learn how to drive without dig. I've never had a rig that didn't have dig.

It's nowhere near where it was when I started, But here's where it is now. I 'm liking the way it handles too. It sidehills good and climbs like a big dog.

Thanks, It's got it's 1st comp this weekend. Maybe it will kick some butt this weekend. I'll let you know if it does. But I've never had a rig without dig. I catch myself setting up for a gate to use Dig, but no dig.

There was only 2 of us there. I came in 2nd. It's working OK, but I think it might be a bit heavy. I'll work on it.

I liked it too ,but it only lasted 2 runs and it was thrashed. It's made for speed not crawling.

Thanks for pics Hellheaded, you didn't have to show the one of me rolling over.

Truck looks good Ricky. You did a nice job on the axles. Get this thing together with the Thrax and let's show us how versatile the AKRCC chassis' are.

I took it off the jig last night. This Thrax is prefect for my TLT axle base rig. It's got some good flex and is smooth no bindind at all. I can push it all the down and the wheel base stays the same. Very little axle swing when I rock the chassis.
Here's a few pics.
