I was trying to find someone else that was using the JR 590M servo and looks like your it. How does it seem to perform. I had a spare one lying around and was planning on using it but wasn't sure it would be up to the task.

It does ok, if you were building a crawler for comps, then it does not have enough power, but for just playing around it does just fine. And I used it for the same reason, just had it laying around

Thats what I kind of figured. I just took mine on it's maiden voyage and the steering pretty much sucked. I still need to get a few things though like a "real" servo horn. I was in a rush and being impatient so I used the cheap flimsy plastic ones that came with the servo. That thing flexes more that a gymnist doing a floor show.

Man that is a sweet looking rig! The tires really set it off. Might have to run a setup like that on my next scaler.

Swapped on some Jato shocks, they are an awesome improvement especially with the threaded bodies!

Great looking scale Bronco! It's probably a blast to drive.

I will be starting on my scale Bronco this week, it will be slightly different then yours.

Looks good, but I'd lower the body as low as possible and cut the fenders bigger to compensate. It'll crawl that much better.

Thanks badger! Hopefully one of these days I will make it out to a norcal get together and see if it can even keep up with your rigs

rckjeep: The body is getting pretty beat up so it wont be long and I will be cutting the fenders off, or they will fall off, whichever comes first lol.

Well have fun with it, it can take a while!

Gooba: I used some small wire cutters, and the space cut out is around 3/16"

With a narrower tire, more of the trucks weight is dispersed through a smaller contact area on the tire, therefore you gain traction, also narrowing the wheel can sometimes help widen the stance if you narrow the inside of the wheel.
