Not trying to kiss your ass here or anything, but seeing that youre one of the top guys in crawling, Do you mind posting some pics and a possible mini writeup of how you did the maxx driveshaft conversion on the tranny and axles?

The Maxx sliders just about bolt-on to the 'Pede tranny outputs. Just have to trim the bearing case of the tranny a bit and shave down the slider end to allow the pin to go through without having the sliders bind with the tranny bearing case.

REVO sliders would take the same amount of work as Maxx ones but the REVO's would just be overkill.

On the axles you just have to make two grub screws and lock it into place as best as you can. Add some CA or JB-Weld to make it really stay

Just paint the bumper black and you're good! I love the body! You should have painted it Olive Drab though...

A tube bumper never came on a Toyota either.....

The bumper still needs work.... I plan to narrow it and drop it about 1/2" or so just to get it below the grill/headlights. I would go with another bumper but the stock Clod one is VERY stout and being able to bolt it right to the chassis is great. Super solid.

This whole truck is far from being finished.... bumpers, rest of suspension(links & shocks), radio gear and so on...

Lookin good Toyo, I like the stock clod chassie idea

BTW I used revo shafts by drilling a hole in the output yoke on the axle, if you use the revo yokes you would also need to trim around 1/8" off the back for them to fit right aswell. It's not a hard conversion-just takes a bit of work.

Got the little rig running this morning... still many bugs to work out but so far so good.

Need to lower the ride height, stiffen up the suspension and trim the body.

I'm going to be cutting out the molded in spare tire to fit a real spare tire into it's spot. Plus I think I'll be cutting out more of the bed area. The spare tire is a stock TLT tire/wheel cut down to 1" wide.

The truck still has plenty of bugs to work out and things to be finished before it's done... but I just had to take it for a test run

Ran another pack through the little rig..... then carnage happened

Had to back up just a bit to give it more gas to get up and over the rock... went a bit fast...

Jumped over the rock and as it hit I heard a pop... the rig then proceded onto it's side.

Upon inspection I noticed that I snaped off the rear yoke.

Then decided to play around with only front wheel drive... 'twas a hoot!

...untill the front yoke popped off the pinion

This thing has way too much power for it's weight. Only weighs 3lbs :P

Do they make steel yokes for the Maxx sliders? If they do, I never knew. I know they have them for the 'Pede sliders.

Yeah, I added a bit of CA to help hold them on.... and I guess it didn't help too much
