Default Vertical Smile-- Tlt

OK I don't have to many builds and felt that I was over due. Although I need to up date a couple of others.

This is what I have so far.

Vertical Smile Chassis of course, because there is no substitute for greatness.
2.2 pede rims
Moabs
Stealth Tranny
electrics??

The start..

TLT Bag O Parts

And the start of axles.

VS plates and a Delrin Skid/Brace 3" wide.

Just made the servo/upper link mount and 4 of the 8 4 links.
Crappy picture but I think you can make out what it looks like.

Have to lock the Diffs. with 2 part epoxy. I have another set to lock as well. So might as well do them all at once.

These gears and...

These gears.

I have to pick up some aluminum rod to get the links for you. And it will be sent out.

this is the 1st Stealth Tranny that I'll be using and I'm trying to figure out how to attach the the Yokes to the tranny. I've been reading a few threads but would like to know what advise I could get on it?

Running maxx shafts? If so, this is what I did...

Take one of these:

Cut it to length to fit inside the drive cup, drill and tap it and stick a pin in it. (kinda screws your driveline angle, but allows for larger spur gears).

My first design was a machined one of these:

with the hole made large enough to slip over the Stealth drive cup with the pin through it. Worked well, but only allowed for about an 84t spur. I wanted more gearing options without the GD-600.

just my .02

Looks like you're off to a good start. You'll be surprised how much interest this will generate in your chassis, too. So spend a few bucks and make it pimptastic!

I just had to pay to get the 2nd run of VS plates so I won't be able to spend the extra money I wanted to, to make it PIMPTASTIC. :(
