It's almost a shame this rig has to run a body.
Exactly what I was just thinking.

Nice chassis, that looks very tunable w/ minimal effort. More shock and link mounting options than any other chassis I've seen. That looks well thought out. Especially how the rows of upper shock mount holes somewhat mimic the arc that the shock would swing if unbolted up top.

Hey Xtreme, is'nt G10 the composite material that has become very popular for folding knife handles lately? Similar to carbon fiber, but more "solid", meaning you can't see any kind of weave in it?
Seems to me that would be a good material for a twin vertical plate chassis. Is it too flexy or something?

Messed with it a bit tonight.

Tore the chassis apart and drilled new holes for the front upper links. Figured I'd do the same for the rear. I need to move the rear upper link mount from where you see it in the pics.

Installed a tranny with motor, servo (linkage isn't hooked up yet), and 8 cell 2/3A pack from thecrawlerstore.com.

Shots:

So far I can see a couple of things that need to be changed but nothing major.

Between the three Max controllers, the three Mamba 25s, and two Quark 33s...I'm set for a couple of days.

Just wish someone would sell some more OG revolvers or a good replacement.

Patience grasshopper. I am certainly working on it. If you want OG revolvers hit up Unimogger for one

This is one sweet chassis too. Looks great!

Though you do HAVE to run a body, does it say anywhere that you HAVE to paint it? Couldn't you just leave it clear to showcase the chassis while being inside the body rule? It is a shame to have to cover such a nice looking chassis.

I don't have one here, but I'm thinking a 2.2 bug body will slide over it well.
