I took the truck crawling today and I just wasn't happy.I changed out the pedy tranny for a r2 tranny to try an low the c.o.g alittle here some pics of the tranny

hey what pinion are you running in the r2.also what motor.Im running a 3013 with a 5mm shaft I have 15t 32p 5mm pinion.I think it may be to tall any ideas

Same question about 3013 and the R2 trans...I am running it with WK axles have different reduction. What is the reduction on TLT's and what pinion are you running in the r2?

Im going to try a 15t pinion and see what that dose if I need to go lower I will have to have the shaft turned down.thanks sw2 is a great chassi modded or unmodded.

Ive got a SW2 on order with Bender will I have to mod the stock chassi like that in order to mount the R2? Rig looks sweet.

no you should not have to do anything to the chassi.my chassi was modded to look like benders sw2. I found my sw2 to work better with the pedy in it

I ground out part of the lower brace so that the tranny would sit flat on the skid and then drilled holes in the skid and counter sunk them and drilled two holes in the other side plate. I also notched the plastic gear cover on the trans.

I just got back from my frist comp.truck did great.I bent the chassi to hell I jumped it off a 6 foot rock and landed on the lid:-(

Looks cool, where did it bend at hopefully it was just the center braces and not the actual chassis.
