| What are the guidelines for a Cross Country/Trail rig?
i've been thinking about getting a toureag/S-10/humvee for a cross crountry rig. i also have a line on a associated TC-3 with the rally conversion kit. could(or would)the TC-3 be considered a CC rig, or does a CC need to have a solid rear axle?

As far as I understand, it doesn't matter if it's solid axle or not.

For our comps, you have to run a Tamiya car, 150, S10, hummer, pajero, touareg, ect. You will only be allowed 1 locker, your choice front or rear. A winch, any motor/gearing choice. Must run the stock tires, unmodded. Along with some other stuff. |

Why is that? A TC3 is going to be just like a TA02. Both are IFS/IRS with shaft drive front to rear. I don't see why a touring/rally car that is relatively equal but not necessarily "tamiya" couldn't participate. I thought the point was ultra scale, not as capable rigs. Like trail trucks. | |

thats why it says, "ect" as long as they had the same width, wheelbase, and tires you can use it. The reason for this is because we are making this a spec class where the rigs have to be 99% the same and it only comes down to driving. |
