Did you have to modiy anything to have it in there?Looks like a good place to place the battery!

No not at all it just fits in there nice and snug. I didnt have to trim the bottom tranny mount or anything. It only falls out on really bad flips but thats nothing a velcro strap can't handle. Let me know if you need some mores pics to show you how its mounted.

ya my battery is pretty much in the same spot too. Works good. Wish everything was reversed so it was on the opposite side though.

How is speed with the brushless setup? I want to get my crawler working so I have sloooow, and can still go with some speed if I wanted. Lathe and GD600 works fine for the crawling, but I also want the thing to go 10-15 mph when I want to. Trying to figure out how.

Are you still running the novak ss 4300 system?
If so how do you like it?
I am considering a brushless sytem myself.
Is a gd600 a gear reduction system?
