Looks cool to me. Got a question though...

I pretty much don't know anything about brushless setups, but I was told that they were to make the vehicle faster. So my question is, why speed it up just to lower the gear ratio with a GD? Does a brushless system provide more low end torque than a conventional motor (say, a 55T)? If not, I can't say I understand the reasoning behind it.

enlighten me

Yeah i had the same ratio with the 55t lathe motor and i have alot more torque, and more wheel spin when i need it now with the brushless system so i like it alot.

Heres another pic of the chassis before the gd600, just waiting for the wheel adaptors from Ace.

have you found out the main reason why more crawlers don't use Brushless now that you are running it?

no motor braking. You have to be on the throttle to stay in one spot in a hill. you can't be off the throttle while on a hill and let the motor stall out holding the the truck. Brushless lets the truck free-roll around

Yeah I noticed no motor braking and I relized it will be a problem when climbing hills :-x, but im glad Delaware is a fairly flat state although it shouldn't be to bad of a problem when rock crawling.

It's not that big of a deal just learn how to feather the throttle.

I really like your truck.
Where is the bronco body.

Thanks for the explanation, I never really understood how a brushless system was supposed to work.

BTW, I ordered the same savage body last week for my TXT...
