Hey Unimoger what wheel size and tires are you gonna run? Sounds like another spendy project. Can't wait to see some pic's.

I am running a custom set of wheels and tires from RDlogics, they were designed for a savage, but I am gonna make them work.

Yes, yet another $$$$$$ project for me, seems like all my projects lately are draining me........... oh well, it is fun as hell to build them.

Heavy ran those tires on the old thumper clod tuber they do real good but he had them on maxx size wheels and they wobbled cause of the real thin side walls with some foam in them they should do real goo but be warned they take wheelspeed to work good.

Nice looking rig!

Did you leave the chassis standard width? It looks a little wider...... maybe just the camera angle.

I like the TLT link/shock brackets on the axle. I may copy that idea for my new TXT project. ;)

SW2 chassis stretched to 3" wide, sw2 link mounts custom mounted on top of txt axles, traxxas links upper and lower adjustable. I used 3mm x 25 machine bolts to hold the tlt brackets on the txt axles, had to drill the housings to make them fit. But I think it will work well. CJ-8, love them and have them on lots of my rigs. Tough as nails too. Tires are glued and pie cut foams, running a 65t lathe with 64 pitch gearing and a 7 cell 3800 pack should get the wheels spinning pretty good.

That'll work great, everything will be behind the axle...... leaving enough space there on the right side of the axle tube for the servo.

Default New Paint !

Well I grabbed another one of my disco'd cj-8 NIP bodies and had it airbrushed, True fire and a skull and cross bones on back, seemed fitting, since it will be the death of the super crawler class........

looks good man! I love my 14" sw2, it is perfect for everything. Super crawlers make stuff too easy sometimes.

How about some body off shots? I want to see the tranny mounted up.

yeah me too I had one in for mock up, then pulled it out to put a brand new one in with 64 pitch gears, should be back together this weekend and I will take body off pics for everyone. I was asked about my new cj-8 body, so that is why I posted those pics now.
