I have never ran a GD600 in my TXT, I have always had a mammoth in there.
Does the Mammoth case use the same gears as a TXT-1 tranny?

I remember doing all those mods to my TXT......about a year ago!!!

You'll like the performance much better now with the low profile set up!!!
But it wouldn't be able to kill my new clod!!!!

It does perform way better. I don't know if it would kill your clod but I think it would keep up pretty well.

I am running Hitec 945's, and the only time I stripped the gears is when I made a servo mount that was apprarently a reallly bad design for the servos. I stipped 2 gear sets in 2 runs.

But with the current mounting spot I have not stripped any gears at all, and the servos are holding up great considering the amount of abuse I put then through.

I would not use anything other then the aluminum servo horns, athough I wish they would not bend so easily.

Badger, how are them revo axles working out for you? I plan on using them in my USA-1 as soon as I can locate gearbox yokes. Also do you know how much slide they have without the dust cover? I hate to cut them off of there if it's not much more than it already has. Ken

The Revo shafts are working out great. I ran all day last Sunday with out breaking one, and I did get my tires in a few binds and tried to power out of them as well.

I don't know anything about a USA-1 but if you can try and make the revo yokes work on your output shafts, since the revo yokes are pretty stout.

I have changed my wheel base from 15 5/8" to 16" and have not had to modify the revo shafts at all. I have not taken the dust cover off, so I do not know how much slide they have without it. I am sure someone here has.

After all the work I did last week the truck was at 16" WB, which I thought was a tad long for my center clearance being so low.

So I thought I would test it and Ryan and I crawled up at the San Carlos spot Saturday morning. I found that is was too long for my taste. So I went home and cut the front four links down 3/16" and thought I had measured correctly because I was planning on having to cut the rear links 3/16" as well. I put the front links back on and for some reason the truck was at 15 5/8" WB. :?

So now my rear links are slightly longer then my front which is what some guys are doing on purpose.

So my WB was at 15 5/8" on Sunday and that is where it is staying.

I was just trying to say that with the blue boot on the revo shaft I went from 15 5/8" to 16" WB and the shaft/boot stretched no problem.

Dumb and dumber is in da house! (thats a shot out for my homie wheels)
