painted the body with airbrush.........fascolor blue pearl, fascolor black, mixed some fascolor pearl green, blue, and some black to make the darker blue, and spaz chrome for the flames. the darker blue is marbleized just like the 2.2, can't see it in the shade but it comes out in the sunlight. the rx is connected to the battery side, 5 cells. thanks for the compliment, yours looks killers too . too bad you're not close by, would be cool to see your's in action too.

I'm liking this truck. How is it holding up? Getting better as it crawls more? I'm going to try a 2.2 version today and see how it works out. Nice work |

| it works awesome............you can climb over things that you never thought possible. the clearence is wonderful, and you can cross over holes that others would get their wheels sucked into. you will not be disappointed if you do it, trust me.

the aluminum backbone is 1"x1"x1/16". i found some at the jobsite and it's alittle stiffer than the ones that homedepot sells. you could probably get away with 1/8", depends on how soft the aluminum is. just try twisting before buying. it's all a personnal preference. good luck on your build.
