after much nagging by the hrcc guys (you know who...s, j, and k ). with the donation of some txt axles by young version , i'm gonna start another build. gonna go the torsion route (inspired by shut d's super). but i wanted to try and make it myself, if it doesn't work.........syco133, you'll be getting a call from me for a chassis. so far i only got the chassis done, but at least it's rolling. hope you guys like it so far, thanks............................................ ......................... homemade torsion made with 1" x 1" x 1/8" aluminum angle locked txt axles commando wheels with 40 series moabs e-maxx tranny, locked in low hitec 5955 servos in front and rear BTA on both axles 55t lathe hot bodies ford excursion body |

yeah, i know the clearance under the chassis i alittle low. i might have to do the same thing i did on "R2D2". put a spacer under the bracket or just make a taller one. thanks for the props though. your torsions are simple but yet very effective . thanks alot

ok, did some work on "C3PO" early this morning after the night shift. fabbed up some brackets for the e-maxx tranny, got the driveshafts in, and made some servo mounts (using the 645's just for mock-up, gonna put some 5955's in later ). looks like C3PO will soon be crawling around with R2D2 real soon.............................................. ......... |

Looks good so far. Might want to make a motor plate for the front so the GD & motor are on the front & the motor sits at a lower hight.

I had serveral backbones but i like the angle profile the ,most because of the sort of float. I still have to make up the steering because they are big 805 servo's with BTA steering. I used a normal txt tranny with GD and stock can but i placed my motor even lower and have a tad more GC. Right now i'm at school so i'll post pics as soon as possible I realy like your Pimp But how do u like your maxx tranny cause of the slop? Did u polish youre btw??
