Done... asked for knuckles (the blue thingies... I think thats their technical name) and steering stuff with more precision. Ball bearing steering like on my RC-10 team car would rock.... hmmmm wonder if I could adapt it....

Hi everyone! This is my first post here! I think this is a great idea and I too sent email requesting some hop up options for the CC01 chassis, particularly steering and suspension. Great little model with so much potential yet so little performance upgrades. |

| They already make universals that bolt in, intended for another application but are a direct fit for the CC-01 rigs... just needs to be made out of steel rather than aluminum.......... GPM aluminum universals, approx 30 minutes of use: |

I received an email from GPM Thank you very much for your email to GPM Racing. Yes, we will plan for parts for Tamiya CC01 and anything updated will be sent for you. Besides of CC01, will you interest in another model parts that make for Tamiya? How polite and helpful! Looking forward to seeing what they come up with. |

The ones he bought was TA2243B....it's the same ones listed. They did find out which parts are interchangeable....knuckles, kingpins for OEM C's, hexes, front knuckle. I just don't see the kingpins for the Alloy knuckles and C's. |

I didn't get CVD's from GPM... they were the aluminum universals. Honestly, I'd pass on them. The weight and use of our CC-01's is totally different than an on-road car, which they are intended. If GPM were to make those universals in steel rather than aluminum, I think they'd have a winner! I've had better luck with the Yeah Racing CVD's holding up to abuse. | ||

yea i herd those gpm universals break easily on the road drift cars. hopefully the steer assembly is not just a replacement of original but one with bushings or bearing |
