cool idea on the scx-10 skid mod, i'm stealing that !

i really dig the FJ, i wish i had picked up one of those bodies before they became so hard to find.

i got it off the classifieds here on RCC. it's advertised as a 1:10th although it's probaby closer to a 1:12th. it's much smaller than an scx-10, as you can see from the group pic at the comp. 95% of those were scx-10's. there were 2 TF2's, and 1 TF1, then my lone CC-01 haha.

It's a New-Bright body. It came off a "rock crawler" they used to make. Nikko also makes one that has a better looking roof rack than NB, but the NB has a sweet bumper and IMO looks more like a real FJ all around.

There's also other brand FJ's on amazon.com
just search 1:10 RC, or 1:10 FJ-cruiser. there's some on there for decent prices.

they pop up in the for sale section occasionally. also might help if you put up a wanted ad.

Damn you, I'm getting the CC01 bug again and I've already got my choice of bodies including that one.

I'm really liking the SCX skid mod, amazing how well it fits in between the frame rails.
